Have Your Sewer Problem Diagnosed by Professionals
We are sewer repair & replacement experts in Englewood, Rotonda, Venice, Sarasota, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Port Charlotte Areas! Our experienced plumbers can diagnose any sewer problem. Using the Video camera and line location equipment we can pinpoint the exact cause and location of the problem and properly advise you of the best possible solution.
Trenchless sewer replacement is not only the newest method to replace your sewer but is the best! Here’s how it works. An insertion and retrieval pit is dug. The trenchless bursting head is inserted into the old sewer pipe. A heavy cable is pushed through the pipe from the retrieval pit. A special hydraulic ram is attached to the cable and pulls the bursting head through the old pipe. At the same time, new polyethylene pipe is pulled along with the bursting head. Every 20′ the pipe is fused together with another special tool. Our system can pull up to 100′ of pipe with just two pits.
The new Pipe provides a continuous seamless sewer to the point of connections. Clean outs are provided along the path of the sewer as needed. This system eliminates the bell and spigot connections every 36″ with clay pipe and coupling every 10′ with cast iron. Fewer connections mean less potential failure points.
Bio-Clean
To help protect your pipes from getting clogged in the first place, ask your plumber about using Bio-Clean- a natural bacteria that eats through organic wastes like grease, hair, food particles, paper, cotton and sewage. Unlike many toxic drain-cleaning products on the market, Bio-Clean is completely natural and non-poisonous. It creates no heat, fumes, or boiling and does not attack live tissue or inorganic material like your pipes. This makes Bio-Clean safe for people, plumbing and the environment.
Video Pipe Inspection and Electronic Line Location
We use the latest technology to see inside your pipes. This allows us to make accurate recommendations and visually show you exactly what is wrong with the drains and locate the source of the problem. Our electronic line location equipment can then locate the precise location of the problem to minimize expensive trenching and avoid un-necessary digging.
Englewood Florida Drain Cleaning Experts
Drain Cleaning Experts!
Probably the most common cause of serious clogs are tree roots which can penetrate sewer lines that run from the house to the street via joints or cracks. A thoroughly clogged sewage pipe can cause backups in all of a home’s drains. New technology is opening these lines faster. Particularly impressive are high-pressure tools that jet water at more than 3,000 pounds per square inch down sewer lines to open stubborn clogs. Our professional plumbers can help you resolve your clogged drain problems today.
At Gem Statewide Plumbing, we specialize in residential and commercial drain cleaning. In addition to traditional rootering (snaking), we offer hydro-jetting to remove the grease and debris that accumulates over time and results in costly backups. Hydro-jetting is the most effective form of drain cleaning there is. Over time drains become impacted and the internal diameter decreases slowly until the pipe is completely clogged. A hydro-jet treatment will remove most, if not all of the debris depending on the amount of accumulation and time since the last cleaning, resulting in trouble-free drains.
Hydro-Jetters use heavy-duty power nozzles attached to powerful hoses and high-pressure water, much like, but more powerful than, a fire hose. The high-pressure water in a hydro-jetter literally pushes debris out of the pipes, either breaking it into small pieces, or by moving it towards a larger area of the pipe where it can be broken up. Grease is often part of the reason for such blockages.
Hydro-jetting is often the first step to a clean pipe system, followed by proper routine maintenance thereafter.Gem Statewide Plumbing employs a comprehensive service program to establish and maintain the health of a drain system. Part of this service program is the application of specially selected and produced cocktails of naturally occurring bacteria that breaks down and destroys the grease that is often the source of pipe line blockages.
